Step 1: Creating a Photo Album on Facebook

The first step in creating your new photo album on Facebook is to login to your Facebook account. Once you have logged in you need to access the photo section of the website. Click on Photos, located on the left-hand side column of the screen. Then click + Upload Photos, located at the top of the page. This will bring you to the Create Album screen.

To create your album you need to fill in the album information. First enter a name in the Album Name dialog box. Next enter a location in the Location dialog box. You can also enter a description of your album in the Description dialog box. Lastly you should select your privacy settings from the Privacy drop-down menu. When you are ready to create your album simply click the Create Album button.2
Step 2: Uploading Photos to Your Facebook Photo Album

Hitting the Create Album button will bring you to the uploading application. Once the application has loaded you need to locate your photos on your computer. Find your files by navigating to their location on the left-hand side column of the uploader. Click on the location of your photos and they will appear on the right-hand side column.

Select the photos that you want to upload individually by checking their check boxes or hit the Select All button to automatically mark all photos. Then click the Upload button. A status box will appear and your photos will begin to upload. Do not click out of the page before your photos have finished uploading.3

Step 3: Publishing Your Facebook Photo Album

When your photos have uploaded your screen will be redirected to the details for your album. Here you can enter a caption for your photos, choose an album cover, tag friends, and more. If all of your photos are correct and you have finished editing them, you can publish your album. Publishing an album allows the photos to go public and be seen by other Facebook users. To publish your album simply click the Publish Now button at the top of the screen. Now your album is available for your friends to view.4
