How to Navigate Tabs on Facebook

Step 1: Creating A Facebook Account

The only way you will be able to navigate the tabs on Facebook is if you have a Facebook account. The first step will be to create this account. Requirements include that you have to be at least 13 years of age, have a valid email account and you will have to agree to Facebook's Terms and Conditions. Sign up for a Facebook account as follows:

1. Go to Facebook.com.
2. Sign up by entering your first name, last name, email, password, sex and date of birth in the form page. After filling out the information click 'Sign Up'.
3. Check your email account for a registration email from Facebook andc onfirm receipt of the email by click on the link in the email.

Step 2: The Wall & Info Tabs

Following you will find information on the various tabs you will find on Facebook. You can find the tabs by clicking on 'Profile' in the upper right hand corner of your Facebook account.

The Wall: Here you will find information that your friends have posted and communication between you and your Facebook friends. You can post anything to your wall that you would like to share with friends.

Info: The 'Info' tab displays all your profile information that you have shared on your profile page. This can be anything from birth dates and interests to education and employment information.

Step 3: The Photos & Boxes Tabs

Other Tabs you will find on Facebook are:

Photos: This tab will display all the photos that you have downloaded to your Facebook account. It is basically a collection of your photo albums.

Boxes: This tab is not often used but basically serves as a storage box for things like bumper stickers and other funny things that don't have another location.

Another tab you will find comes in the form of a 'plus sign'. The '+' sign allows you to add a new tab that you can name yourself. If you for instance want to create a tab for your notes, you can do this by clicking this tab.³
